Dominic Brown advises private equity funds and public and private companies in complex UK and cross-border transactions. He acts for clients on private equity and M&A mandates, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, and joint ventures as well as providing general advice on company and commercial matters. Dominic has experience across a range of industries, including industrials, infrastructure and renewable energy, indirect real estate, and technology.
Dominic's recent experience includes advising Macquarie Asset Management on their investment in Island Green Power Limited, a UK-based renewable energy developer, and Lazard Asset Management's Sustainable Infrastructure Fund on its investment in DBE Energy Limited, a biogas business.
Dominic was also a member of the teams that advised Goldman Sachs and Wellcome Trust on their £4.66 billion disposal of IQ Student Accommodation to Blackstone; Hansteen Holdings in the £500 million recommended takeover of Hansteen by a newly-formed company indirectly owned by affiliates of Blackstone; and Bally's Corporation in its $2.7 billion takeover of Gamesys Group PLC, an online gaming company.
