Jon DeWitt is a litigator focused on solving clients' problems that involve agency actions and government investigations. He has participated in litigation at every level of the federal judiciary and has helped clients successfully navigate federal and state investigations with billions of dollars at stake.

Jon brings to bear more than a decade of experience in the federal government. While attending Harvard Law School, Jon interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria Division) and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts (Boston Division) where he received Harvard's Dean's Scholar recognition for his work in the Major Crimes Unit. After law school, Jon clerked for Judge Raymond M. Kethledge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Before becoming a lawyer, Jon served as a U.S. Marine officer for more than 10 years. During that period, he deployed overseas three times, twice as an MV-22B Osprey pilot and once as a Forward Air Controller (FAC) and the aviation advisor to an infantry battalion commander. In his time in uniform, Jon worked with all branches of the U.S. military and various federal agencies including the U.S. State Department and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as well as various foreign military and civilian agencies.
