Gonzalo Hierro focuses his practice on commercial arbitration and litigation. He has extensive experience representing a wide range of clients in arbitration proceedings administered by both national and international institutions, as well as before courts of all levels in Spain.
His recent work includes representing consortium members in arbitration proceedings before the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) arising from disputes related to the execution of civil infrastructure projects in Latin America; advising a Spanish company, recently acquired by a UK investment fund, in a post-M&A arbitration administered by CIAM (Madrid International Arbitration Center); and acting for a pharmaceutical company in ICC arbitration proceedings against its importer and distributor in China.
Gonzalo advises clients throughout all stages of the dispute resolution process, including prelitigation strategy and risk assessment.
He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Madrid Bar Association, and the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club.
