Nick Lewis joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2024. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Nick completed a clerkship with Judge Lisa Godbey Wood of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. In law school, Nick was heavily involved in the University of Georgia's advocacy program. He won the Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition, the Hunton Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship, and the Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition.

Reynolds Tobacco Company--that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's regulation requiring graphic cigarette warning labels likely exceeds the Agency's authority under the Tobacco Control Act.
