Jose Moncada represents clients in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. Jose has experience in various stages of litigation, such as fact investigation, discovery, motions practice, legal research, trial preparation, and appeals.
Jose maintains an active pro bono practice. He represents individuals seeking asylum in the United States and advocates for veterans through the Firm's VetLex Initiative.
Before joining Jones Day, Jose served as a judicial law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Prior to attending law school, Jose served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and competed as a professional track and field athlete.
