Leah Murphy's practice focuses on data privacy, cybersecurity, litigation, and investigations. She advises clients on all aspects of data and cybersecurity compliance and has experience litigating claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Leah also has experience investigating claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
Leah is committed to pro bono work and has experience representing clients in immigration matters through Jones Day's Border Project and in partnership with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). In addition, Leah represents clients in family court in partnership with Her Justice. Prior to rejoining Jones Day in 2024, Leah clerked for Justice Rachel Wainer Apter in the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
