Chris Norris's practice focuses on high-value, complex multijurisdictional disputes, with extensive experience advising clients in litigation, arbitration, alternative dispute resolution procedures (including mediation and expert determination), and settlement negotiations.
Chris has acted for clients across a broad range of sectors (including private equity, financial institutions, energy, tech, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, commodities, and high net worth individuals) in contentious matters, including investor and shareholder disputes, M&A disputes (including warranty, indemnity, and earn-out claims), general contractual, commercial and licensing disputes, fraud, and fiduciary duties and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2024, Chris practiced at an international law firm in London where he also represented clients before the Hearings Committee and Appeal Board of The Takeover Panel, the United Kingdom's regulatory body.
