Avery Rasmussen Phillips focuses on motions practice and appellate advocacy. Before joining Jones Day in 2024, Avery served as a law clerk to Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Dabney L. Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
