Emma Rakotobe's practice is focused on French and European environmental law. She advises French and international companies on environmental litigation (before administrative, civil, and criminal courts) and on regulatory and compliance matters, including Classified Installations for Environmental Protection (ICPE), contaminated sites and soils, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and nonfinancial reporting.
She is particularly involved in issues relating to deceptive commercial practices (greenwashing) and climate change-related issues.
Before joining Jones Day in 2024, Emma gained experience through internships at law firms, an administrative court, and a real estate company.
