Lamberto Schiona is a litigator and trial lawyer with more than 25 years of extensive experience. He has handled high-stakes, complex civil, commercial, and administrative disputes, including major class actions, before Italian courts, including the Supreme Court and the Administrative High Court, as well as before national and international arbitral tribunals and as a panelist.

Lamberto has litigated cases ranging from antitrust and competition (both public and private enforcement) to IP, commercial contracts, corporate (including post-closing purchase price disputes, working capital adjustments, business performance, and earn-out disputes), insolvency, banking & finance (including international bank and other guarantees disputes and defaulted securitization transactions), insurance, construction, and tort claims. He has been praised for his skill on appealing fines issued by the Italian Surveillance Authorities (AGCM, IVASS, and Banca d'Italia, in charge of supervising the antitrust, insurance, and banking industry sectors respectively), along with his substantial and uncommon experience in many industry sectors and areas of law.

In addition to regularly litigating cases to judgment, Lamberto's practice includes claim preventions, post-claim strategies, and ADRs (alternative dispute resolutions).

Lamberto has taught commercial law classes at several law schools, both in Italy and abroad. He is a regular speaker at conventions and seminars and has authored a number of papers on economics, commercial, and insurance law. He is co-director of the post-graduate course on class actions at the School of Law of the University of Rome LUISS Guido Carli.
