Katie Wall is an experienced first-chair trial lawyer. Katie tries cases to juries, judges, and arbitrators. She represents clients in complex contract, fraud, and employment disputes. With a background in accounting, Katie combines her advocacy skills with an understanding of complex financial and economic issues. Her creative approach and strategy leads to successful outcomes in high-stakes litigation, including unanimous jury verdicts.
Katie represents clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, aviation, banking, e-commerce, energy, and retail. She also has significant experience defending companies against Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Justice (DOJ) enforcement actions, including allegations of accounting and securities fraud, compliance issues, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations.
Katie's practice includes substantial international multiparty and multiforum litigation. She routinely handles complex international discovery and privacy issues as well as strategic government discovery and open records (Freedom of Information Act [FOIA]) disputes.
Katie is a three-time graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, receiving her bachelor's in business administration, master's in accounting, and juris doctorate. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
