Jones Day advised certain subsidiaries of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. and FPL Group, Inc. entered into a joint development agreement to explore the construction of a pipeline in north Louisiana to transport natural gas from the expanding Haynesville Shale area. The capacity of the potential new pipeline would be up to 2.0 billion cubic feet per day and would connect Haynesville Shale natural gas production to markets in North Louisiana and CenterPoint Energy's Perryville Hub.
