Love146 submits amicus curiae brief before U.S. Supreme Court in important Fourth Amendment case
Client(s) Love146
Jones Day, serving as pro bono counsel, filed an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of Love146 in a case raising a Fourth Amendment challenge to an ordinance authorizing law enforcement to inspect without a warrant hotel and motel guest registries. The brief, filed in support of neither party, brings to the Court's attention the serious problem of child sex trafficking in the United States and traffickers' reliance on hotels and motels, as well as the challenged ordinance's role in deterring child sex trafficking.
