The Firm represented a client referred by Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing whose landlord sought to evict her from her apartment. Associates Benjamin Ganellen, Jamie Ward, and Jason Zhou negotiated a favorable settlement with the landlord’s attorney, agreeing that in exchange for our client vacating the premises by the end of the month, the landlord would waive all claims for back rent, dismiss the case with prejudice, agree to seal the records, and return part of our client’s security deposit.
