Jones Day represented a national political campaign in obtaining an emergency stay of discovery pending appeal in a Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) lawsuit. After the district court denied the client’s motion to compel arbitration, Jones Day asked the court of appeals to grant an emergency stay of proceedings pending appeal. The court of appeals granted the motion to stay proceedings pending appeal.
