Data and document vendor obtains dismissal with prejudice in Western District of North Carolina
Client(s) NextLevel Association Solutions, Inc.
Jones Day successfully defended a data and document vendor which provides a platform for the request and provision of real estate disclosure documents in a putative class action in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, involving claims that the client's service fees were unreasonable and violative of certain state statutes which regulate the provision of disclosure documents by planned community owners' associations, as well as North Carolina's consumer protection laws. Jones Day successfully moved to dismiss all seven claims with prejudice.
