Delaware North completes business combination and debt financing transaction of its Illinois Route-Gaming business

Client(s) Delaware North Companies Gaming & Entertainment, Inc.

Jones Day advised Delaware North in the business combination transaction of its route-gaming business in Illinois with Eureka Entertainment's Universal Gaming Group. As a result of the transaction, Delaware North becomes the majority owner of Universal GEM Gaming, a joint venture entity and the fourth largest route-gaming operator in Illinois. As part of the transaction, Jones Day further advised Delaware North regarding a credit facility for the joint venture.
