Melissa Adams focuses her practice on high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts, representing clients in matters involving business disputes and insurance coverage. She has experience in various aspects of litigation, including case management, offensive and defensive discovery, including depositions and witness preparation, motions practice, trial preparation, and appeals.
Melissa also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration and appellate court. In addition, she serves as a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Melissa gained experience in a wide variety of legal matters while serving as a judicial law clerk for Chief Judge Sidney R. Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
