Steve Bradley focuses his practice on intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent prosecution and litigation. Steve has represented clients across a broad spectrum of patent matters, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, infringement actions in federal district court, appeals before the Federal Circuit, and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Leveraging his technical background and institutional experience, Steve has prosecuted patents across a variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence, software, batteries, electrical circuits, and electronic design automation. Steve also has experience in a variety of phases of litigation, including motions practice, fact and expert discovery, claim construction proceedings, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Steve worked as a patent examiner at the USPTO. As an examiner, Steve reviewed applications related to semiconductor technologies, including integrated circuits, memory devices, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and more. At the USPTO, Steve also served as an advisor for administrative patent judges of the PTAB during ex parte appeal proceedings.
