Lara Clarke's practice focuses on the energy sector, with a particular emphasis on project and public law aspects of renewable energy and infrastructure.
Lara advises sponsors, investors, and financial institutions on legal and regulatory issues relating to the development, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, biomass, cogeneration, hydrogen, hydro).
She assists national and international clients on a wide range of regulatory issues, including wind energy, solar energy (self-consumption, solarization obligation), hydrogen (import,/carbon border adjustment mechanism), battery storage, electric vehicle charging stations, and electricity supply.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Lara gained experience working in the Paris office of an international law firm and in the legal department of a multinational energy company.
