Graham Foster joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2024. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Through his internships and time at Jones Day, Graham has defended clients in disputes pending before various tribunals, including administrative bodies and state and federal courts. His experience includes drafting substantive memoranda of law for use in dispositive motion practice on Article III standing, default judgment, summary judgment, and other procedural grounds.
Beyond litigation and other disputes work, Graham has provided compliance counseling for clients seeking to adjust their internal practices regarding DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) initiatives and other employment-related risks.
Graham maintains an active pro bono practice and currently represents local children as their guardian ad litem in a custody dispute pending before the D.C. Superior Court.
