Sam Harding advises on a wide range of transactions, including asset and corporate real estate acquisitions and disposals, long-term developments and regenerations, and the real estate aspects of development and investment financings. Sam has in-depth experience across various real estate sectors, including build-to-rent (BTR), purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), health care, office, retail, and logistics.

Sam's recent experience prior to joining Jones Day in 2024 includes acting for Tristan Capital on corporate and asset acquisitions of recently constructed PBSA assets into its targeted £750m student platform, Goldman Sachs on the disposal of a UK logistics portfolio, and Greystar on the development and financing of six BTR towers in northwest London. He also acted for other clients, including Riverstone, Blackstone, Mitsubishi Estate London, Europa Capital, Generation Partners, QuadReal, and Henley Investment Management.

In 2022, Sam spent seven months on secondment in the legal department at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
