Morgan Schauer practices intellectual property law, with a focus on technology, licensing, and commercial transactions. Morgan regularly advises clients on complex technology transactions, including drafting and negotiating license, collaboration, development, software, SaaS (software as a service), nondisclosure, supply, purchase, and service agreements. She also advises clients on the structure and drafting of intellectual property and life science-related settlement agreements.
Morgan regularly advises clients on the intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating deal documents and performing due diligence on a company's intellectual property portfolio and commercial agreements. Morgan represents both buy-side and sell-side clients in this capacity.
Morgan's experience includes representing clients from a variety of industries, including software, technology, education, health care, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
