Brett Weinstein's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. He has experience representing clients in federal and state courts in toxic tort litigation, contract disputes, and litigation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Brett also conducts internal investigations on behalf of companies and represents clients in connection with regulatory investigations brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Brett maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in asylum proceedings, U visa petitions, and unaccompanied minor cases. He has represented several immigrant clients through the Firm's Laredo Project.
While in law school, Brett participated in the Immigrant Defense Clinic, where he assisted clients at various stages of their removal proceedings.
