Dr. Christoph Wunderlich is a German patent attorney with an extensive knowledge of chemistry. Christoph advises clients in all aspects of patent prosecution as well as invalidation and litigation of intellectual property matters. He represents clients in organic, inorganic, and polymer chemistry and in technologies related to life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Christoph trained at one of the largest English IP law firms and worked as an independent patent attorney, where he handled numerous oppositions, appeals, and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Before training as a patent attorney, Christoph worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a group leader for a Swiss company that specialized in the large-scale production of peptides and oligonucleotides.

Christoph is a member of the German Patent Lawyers Association, the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), and the Association of Intellectual Property Professionals (VPP).
