Jones Day partner Lin Kahn named to San Francisco Business Times' "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" list
Jones Day's Lin Kahn was named to San Francisco Business Times' "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" list for 2025. Honorees are female business leaders in the Bay Area making a difference in their industries and communities.
A partner in the Firm's Antitrust & Competition Law Practice, Ms. Kahn has more than 15 years of experience leading large litigation and investigation teams both in private practice and government service in high-profile matters. A litigator at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) from 2015 to 2020, she served in leading roles in investigations and litigation challenging anticompetitive conduct, merger reviews, and consumer protection matters. In private practice, Ms. Kahn has represented a broad range of clients in antitrust matters, including Google, Adobe, John Deere, Ubisoft, and many more.
Her recent achievements include serving as lead attorney in several government investigations; serving as lead counsel for a divestiture buyer in the high-profile Microsoft/Activision merger litigation brought by the FTC; and winning a dismissal of a putative class action alleging unlawful monopolistic conduct involving Google Maps.
Ms. Kahn's selection was also based on her commitment to leadership in both the Firm's San Francisco Office—where she serves as a mentor, Inclusion & Advancement Partner for the office, and founder of the Firm's Asian Lawyers Affinity Group—and the antitrust community, in which she serves on the executive committees of the Antitrust Sections of the California Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association.
