Jones Day advised Deutsche Telekom AG in connection with the purchase by Deutsche Telekom Venture Funds GmbH of stock in a private placement by BodyTel Europe GmbH, a German company that specializes in telemedical monitoring and management systems for chronic diseases. Deutsche Telekom Venture Funds GmbH is managed by T-Venture Holding GmbH and both are subsidiaries of Deutsche Telekom AG, an integrated telecommunications provider offering its customers around the world a portfolio of services in the areas of telecommunications and information technology and the largest telecommunications company in Europe.
