Jones Day assisted Au Nom de la Rose, the European flower shop franchise company, in a copyright infringement claim brought against it before the Paris Court of First Instance by a former independent designer who sought damages in excess of two million euros, claiming that she had developed the architectural chart, concept logo and relevant documentation associated with the company.
