Jones Day secures guardianship in highly contested case

Client(s) Clients M.J. and L.J.

Jones Day represented an aunt and uncle in seeking guardianship of their three young nieces.  After several years of litigating the highly contested matter, including more than a week of a trial dates, the parents gave their consent to guardianship.  The judge then ordered that the children be placed into guardianship with our clients, finding that all statutory requirements had been proven.
