Jones Day represented Jefferies LLC, as placement agent and financial advisor, in connection with a private placement of $800 million of equity securities and as sole lead arranger of $450 million senior secured second lien term loan facility by American Energy Ohio Holdings, LLC and American Energy-Utica, LLC, an affiliate of American Energy Partners L.P. The proceeds will be used to fund specified acquisitions and for general purposes, including capital expenditures.
