Garden City Group advises in Lupatech restructure of some US$300 million worth of debt as part of reorganization plan

Client(s) Garden City Group, The

Jones Day advised The Garden City Group in connection with Lupatech S.A.'s extrajudicial reorganization plan aimed at restructuring some US$300 million worth of debt approved by the Brazilian court. The Garden City Group acted as the legal administration services provider and as representative of the bondholders who consented to the extrajudicial reorganization plan in the homologation process in the Brazilian court. This is Brazil's first ever extrajudicial restructuring solely involving bonds issued abroad.
