USPI's Reading Surgery Center merges with Surgical Institute of Reading

Jones Day advised United Surgical Partners International (USPI) and its affiliate, Reading Surgery Center, on the antitrust aspects of its transaction with the Surgical Institute of Reading (SIR). The transaction adds SIR, a surgical specialty hospital in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, to USPI's national network of ambulatory surgery centers.
