Jones Day advised Nine Dragons Paper in its $175 million acquisition of the Rumford, Maine and Biron, Wisconsin paper mills of Catalyst Paper Corporation. Nine Dragons is an environmentally friendly manufacturer of various types of paper and paper-based products and is the largest containerboard producer in China and Asia and a leading paper product manufacturer globally. The acquisition is an upstream integration of Nine Dragons' current business and an important step in executing Nine Dragon's global fiber sourcing and customer strategy.
