Celgene obtains dismissal with prejudice of patent infringement claims involving its Vidaza® brand drug

Client(s) Celgene Corporation

Jones Day represented Celgene Corporation in a patent infringement lawsuit involving the company’s Vidaza® brand drug that was filed by IVAX LLC in the Southern District of Florida. On December 31, 2013, IVAX voluntarily dismissed its suit with prejudice. Celgene made no payment to IVAX in connection with the resolution of the lawsuit or its dismissal.
