Jones Day represented Idenix Pharmaceuticals LLC (a subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc.) in opposition proceedings before the EPO related to Idenix patent covering nucleoside analogs and prodrugs. The subject matter is nucleoside analogs and prodrugs for treating Flaviviridae infections, including HCV.
