Cardinal Health defeats lawsuit seeking to enjoin Asset Purchase Agreement relating to cancer diagnostic product

Jones Day successfully defended Cardinal Health 414, LLC, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc., against a lawsuit filed by Beijing Sinotau Medical Research Company, which sought to enjoin Navidea Biopharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health 414 from closing an Asset Purchase Agreement transferring the intellectual property rights of a radioactive cancer diagnostic product known as Lymphoseek from Navidea to Cardinal Health. The deal closed on schedule.
