Jones Day advised HD Supply Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HDS) in its demerger. In the transaction HDS separated its Facilities Maintenance and Construction & Industrial businesses, each of which had over $3 billion in revenues last year, into two independent publicly traded companies through a tax-free distribution.
