Jones Day advised a global aerospace manufacturer on the design and implementation of a centralized technology governance framework and integrated enterprise risk management program for its IT, OT, and IoT assets. The engagement involved leading, with the company's legal team, and in coordination with relevant business, IT and compliance teams, an assessment of the client's technology risk management program, the development of a global oversight framework designed to enhance compliance and liability risk management, and definition of key oversight roles and responsibilities (including compliance oversight) based on the client's technology capabilities, asset types, and risk classifications. The new governance framework is intended to help facilitate cybersecurity technology risk and compliance visibility for the client's senior management, compliance, audit, and legal functions.
