The Marena Group obtains dismissal of patent infringement allegations over its compression fabric garments

Client(s) Marena Group, The

Jones Day defended The Marena Group, LLC, a manufacturer of medical-grade compression garments, against patent infringement allegations brought by EFA, Inc. in the Northern District of Georgia. Plaintiff alleged infringement of a patent directed at the manufacture and structure of knitted elastomeric fabrics, and Marena filed counterclaims for breach of contract under the parties' supplier agreement. The parties ultimately reached a negotiated resolution of the dispute and stipulated to dismissal of the action.
