Jones Day partner Corey Lee named to Crain's Cleveland Business Notable Black Leaders list

Jones Day's Corey Lee was named to Crain's Cleveland Business' Notable Black Leaders list for 2024. Honorees are Black professionals who demonstrate significant accomplishments within their industry and communities. A partner in the Business & Tort Litigation Practice, he is an advisor for clients involved in litigation and government investigations, and a national thought leader in e-discovery best practices and policy.

He has represented clients in litigation arising from information security and data breach incidents and contract disputes, including recently representing government contractors and their subcontractors in claims involving alleged civil and criminal violations of the False Claims Act and related statutes. Recently, he helped lead a team for a contractor providing housing maintenance that led to a declination of criminal action against the company and a favorable civil resolution. He also has represented consumer products companies in high-stakes litigation ranging from antitrust to product liability where he prevailed on the merits and defeated class certification.

Mr. Lee is a member of the Advisory Board for the Georgetown Law Global Advanced eDiscovery Institute, the Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Duke Law Alumni Association. He is also on the Executive Committee for AMIkids, a national nonprofit that has touched the lives of over 160,000 young people over the past 55 years.
