Client(s) Cost Company, L.P.
Jones Day successfully represented Cost Company, L.P. as a contractor when Indiana Limestone Company, Inc. filed for bankruptcy under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Pursuant to a purchase order executed prior to the bankruptcy, Indiana Limestone had agreed to supply limestone blocks to Cost for the renovations of the Health and Human Development Building at The Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. Jones Day advised Cost and assisted with the negotiation of a new purchase order whereby Indiana Limestone agreed to continue to supply the limestone blocks for the project.
