Air Medical Group Holdings obtains TRO in trade secret and non-solicitation matter

Jones Day successfully obtained a temporary restraining order for its client, Air Medical Group Holdings, Inc. and affiliated companies ("AMGH"), in two related lawsuits against three former employees and AMGH's competitor, Medical Air Services Association d/b/a MASA Assist ("MASA"). In these lawsuits, AMGH alleged that three former employees violated their non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements with AMGH and improperly retained confidential information. AMGH also alleged that these three employees' new employer, MASA, tortiously interfered with the employees' agreements with AMGH. On December 18, 2015, the Denton County court granted AMGH's application for a temporary restraining order prohibiting two former employees and their new employer from soliciting its customers and employees, and from using trade secrets and other confidential information for the benefit of the new employer. On December 21, 2015, the Grayson County court granted AMGH's application for a temporary restraining order prohibiting the third former employee from soliciting its customers and employees, and from using trade secrets and other confidential information for the benefit of the new employer. Both courts also granted AMGH's motions for expedited discovery.
