Edelman coordinates first Warrior Games held at public venues

Jones Day advised Daniel J. Edelman Holdings Inc. on its role coordinating the Department of Defense Warrior Games. Edelman encountered distinctive government contracting challenges in 2017 as it organized the first Warrior Games held outside of a U.S. Olympic Committee training facility or military base.

The Warrior Games is an annual even allowing wounded, ill, and injured service members to enhance their recovery and rehabilitation through participation in adaptive sports. The 2017 Warrior Games were open to the public and held throughout the downtown area of Chicago, including Soldier Field.
