Jones Day advised South Carolina Electric & Gas Company, principal subsidiary of SCANA Corporation, in its $180 million acquisition of a 540-megawatt, combined-cycle, natural-gas-fired power plant from Columbia Energy LLC, including assistance securing Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approval of the transaction.
