Jones Day advised the Government of the Republic of Togo on an international bidding procedure to privatize TogoCom. TogoCom owns Togo Télécom and Togo Cellulaire, the fixed and mobile operators of electronic communications in Togo. Jones Day advised on the legal and regulatory framework; drafting the transaction documents (tender regulations, share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreement, new articles of association, IRU contract, modified licenses' specifications, and non-disclosure agreements); monitoring the bidding procedure; and completing the transaction with the selected bidder.
