Experian wins complete defense verdict in jury trial in Middle District of Florida

Jones Day represented Experian Information Solutions, Inc. as lead trial counsel in a jury trial in federal court in the Middle District of Florida resulting in a complete defense verdict. The case, brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), tested the reasonableness of Experian's procedures in reporting credit information and in responding to disputes regarding that reporting. During the trial, Jones Day was able to persuade the jury that the procedures implemented by Experian were reasonable under the FCRA.
