Jones Day defended Charles Schwab Bank in a patent infringement case before Judge Alan Albright in the Western District of Texas involving fintech technology. Plaintiff alleged infringement of patents related to secure payment systems for debit and credit card transactions. The case was successfully resolved through settlement.
