Cassie Stanton Cox focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and government enforcement actions, with an emphasis on those initiated by state attorneys general and federal agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). She has assisted clients in developing critical facts and narratives, drafting motions and pleadings, and responding to discovery requests.

Cassie also maintains an active pro bono practice, supporting survivors of human trafficking through Jones Day's Post-Conviction Relief Program and veterans of the United States Armed Forces through Jones Day's Vetlex pro bono initiative.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Cassie interned at the Federal Defender's Office for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps in the Military District of Washington, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia. Throughout law school, Cassie contributed her time to the Innocence Project Clinic at the University of Virginia, aiding wrongfully convicted individuals within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
