"FinAccelerate Empowered by Jones Day" named among National Law Journal 2023 "Legal Technology Trailblazers"
The National Law Journal has named FinAccelerate - Empowered by Jones Day to its annual list of "Legal Technology Trailblazers," which recognizes legal technologies that are helping to change the way law firms operate and profiles companies and law firms that are taking innovative measures to set them apart from others in the market.
FinAccelerate is an accelerator program to help selected and innovative fintech start-up companies with legal know-how that also connects them with leading financial institutions, investors, and potential joint venture partners in order to accelerate their business. Twenty companies (the cohort companies) were selected to participate in the program that took place in October 2022 in Jones Day's offices in San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
The program structure included legal know-how sessions and dedicated small group legal Q&A sessions covering a range of relevant legal topics and a demo day allowing the cohort companies an opportunity to present their companies to an audience of invited institutions, VCs, and investors. Some of the world's leading fintech industry influencers, banks, and investors are involved with the FinAccelerate demo day and program. The program features ongoing engagement with a strong ecosystem of leading advisors, potential investors, and partners.
