Jones Day names eight winners of its 2024 International Legal Fellowship Award in China
Eight outstanding law students from top universities in China were chosen as recipients of the 2024 Jones Day International Legal Fellowship Award.
Launched in 2001, the annual Legal Fellowship was created to support students in the pursuit of their legal education and experience as part of the Firm’s commitment to advance to the rule of law. The winners were selected from a pool of hundreds of applications and are students at China University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Fudan University, Hong Kong University, Renmin University of China, Southwest University of Political Science and Law and Tsinghua University.
"The Jones Day fellowship includes universities throughout China with law schools,” said Angel Huang, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day's Mainland China Offices. “After the first winning student from Hong Kong last year, we are proud to have the first student winner from the Midwest region of China this year, which fully demonstrates the reach of the Fellowship. “At the same time, we are also looking forward to a deeper cooperation with the universities to provide students with more opportunities to learn about what a career in private practice is like at a global law firm.”
